Cultural Intelligence Simulation Lab · Cohort 01

Test the decision before you commit to it.

A promising idea can still carry untested assumptions, incomplete evidence or consequences its creator has not yet seen. The £150 Idea Simulation Review creates a disciplined pause before the next commitment of time, money or trust.

One idea. One decision. One simulation cycle. CIS examines what the available evidence supports, what remains uncertain and whether the most responsible next move is to Proceed, Revise, Test Smaller, Pause or Stop.

01

Three guided questions

Frame the idea, identify one piece of supporting evidence and name the assumption that matters most.

02

A brief reflection

See how clearly the starting point has been framed. Your notes remain in your browser and are not submitted to CIS.

03

A clear boundary

The preview does not provide a readiness score, scenario analysis, cultural assessment or final recommendation.

Paid Review

What £150 adds

Private CIS analysis, cultural lenses, Red Team challenge, a Decision Report, recorded explanation and a Proceed, Revise, Pause or Stop recommendation.

What is the idea—and what change is it intended to create?

Describe the idea plainly. Name who it is for and the decision you are trying to make.

The idea is still unframed.

This preview does not score the idea or recommend a decision. A reliable judgement requires the complete evidence, cultural-context and challenge process.

Paid analysis

The method is visible. The judgement is protected.

Scenario analysis, cultural lenses, Red Team challenge and the final Proceed, Revise, Pause or Stop recommendation are completed privately through the CIS Idea Simulation Review.

This is a fully online, asynchronous service. There is no compulsory meeting and no need to be in Nottingham. Work through the private guided questions when it suits you, supply the evidence you already have and add an optional voice explanation if writing does not tell the whole story.

CIS then examines the idea through evidence, assumptions, audience, cultural context, changing conditions and constructive challenge. You receive a personalised assessment—not an automatic score.

01

Request

Tell CIS about the idea and decision. Suitability and the £150 manual payment are confirmed directly.

Work through the private questions and submit relevant links, documents or an optional voice note.

03

CIS reviews

Your evidence and assumptions are tested through cultural lenses, scenarios and Red Team challenge.

Submit one idea and the one decision it needs to support.

This is the pre-payment scope check for Cohort 01. Your answers help CIS determine whether the £150 Review is a responsible fit. They are not an application test of how polished your writing sounds.

If the request fits, CIS will confirm suitability, arrange payment personally and activate the private review intake. If one essential point is missing, CIS will ask one focused clarification.

Before you begin.

The Review is designed to be clear, bounded and usable from anywhere. These answers explain how it works and what to expect.

Why is this described as a limited pilot offer?

CIS is developing and testing the Idea Simulation Review with a small number of early clients. The £150 introductory price reflects that pilot stage. You receive the complete Review described on this page, and after delivery you may be invited to share honest feedback about what was useful, unclear or missing. Participation in feedback is welcomed, not required.

Do I need to attend a meeting?

No. You complete the Review online, in your own time. There is no compulsory call and no need to arrange diaries before the work can begin. If the idea is easier to explain aloud, you can include a short voice note with your submission.

How do I request and pay for the Review?

Begin by sending a short enquiry about the idea and the decision you are facing. CIS will confirm whether the Review is an appropriate starting point and arrange the £150 payment with you directly. Your private intake is activated after payment. An automatic website checkout will be introduced later; for now, payment is handled personally.

What kinds of ideas can I bring?

You might be developing a business, creative project, cultural programme, event, service or community initiative. The idea does not need to be perfectly formed. What matters is that there is a real question beneath it: whether to proceed, what needs testing or where the thinking is still too uncertain.

What will CIS ask me to provide?

You will be guided through questions about the idea, the people it is intended to serve, the evidence you have, the assumptions you are making and the decision in front of you. Relevant links and documents can be included, along with an optional voice note. Sensitive information should never be entered into the free public preview.

What will I receive?

You will receive a personalised four-to-six-page Decision Report and a short recorded explanation. The report includes an Evidence & Assumptions Map, cultural-intelligence assessment, critical assumptions, Red Team and scenario findings, a clear Proceed, Revise, Pause or Stop recommendation, three priority actions and a focused 30-day testing plan.

How long will it take?

The Review is normally returned within three working days once CIS has received your complete submission and any information needed to understand it properly. If something essential is missing, CIS will ask one focused clarification rather than making an unsupported assumption.

What happens to the information I share?

Anything written in the free preview stays in your browser and is not sent to CIS. Paid Review materials should only be supplied through the private instructions you receive after your enquiry. They will be used to complete your Review and handled in line with the CIS privacy terms.

What does the £150 price include?

The introductory price covers one idea, one defined decision, one CIS assessment, one Decision Report and one recorded explanation. It does not quietly expand into a business plan, funding application, campaign strategy, unlimited revisions or a live consultation. Those boundaries protect the quality and usefulness of the work.

What happens after I receive the Review?

The purpose is not to push every idea forward. The evidence may support proceeding, revising the idea, running a smaller test, pausing while you learn more or deciding not to continue. If further CIS support would genuinely help, the report will explain the most proportionate option. You are not required to buy another service.

Help CIS improve the Review without becoming part of its marketing.

After delivery, Cohort 01 clients may be invited to answer six short questions. Feedback is optional. Permission to quote any response is requested separately.

  1. What became clearer after reading the Review?
  2. What remained unclear or insufficiently explained?
  3. Which section was most useful—and why?
  4. Did the recommendation and three actions feel proportionate to the evidence?
  5. What should change before the next Idea Simulation Review?
  6. Would you permit CIS to quote any part of your feedback, anonymously or with agreed attribution?

From what is known to a decision that can be tested.

The Review makes the reasoning visible. It distinguishes evidence from belief, exposes the uncertainties carrying the most risk and subjects the idea to cultural, practical and adversarial challenge before recommending the next proportionate commitment.

  1. 01
    Known

What the available evidence genuinely supports.

  2. 02
    Assumed

What the idea currently depends upon being true.

  3. 03
    Unknown

What has not yet been established and could change the decision.

  4. 04
    Test

The smallest credible action that could produce useful evidence.

  5. 05
    Simulate

How the idea behaves across favourable, likely and adverse conditions.

  6. 06
    Challenge

What a Red Team, affected audience or intelligent opponent may expose.

  7. 07
    Decide

Whether the evidence supports Proceed, Revise, Pause or Stop.

Before you invest in the idea, test the thinking behind it.

Explore why encouragement is not evidence, how the Lab makes assumptions visible and what it means to reach a Proceed, Revise, Pause or Stop decision.

Evidence Ledger

Separate what is known from what is hoped.

Record observations, research and real behaviour alongside the limits of each claim.

Cultural lenses

See the idea from more than one position.

Examine access, language, power, place, identity, trust and unintended interpretations.

Scenario simulation

Change the conditions before reality does.

Explore how the idea responds when demand, resources, partners or public expectations shift.

Red Team challenge

Give intelligent disagreement a formal role.

Ask what could fail, who could be harmed and which evidence would change the decision.

Prototype and validation

Learn through proportionate contact with reality.

Design a small test, seek human response and preserve what the result actually shows.

Decision Readiness

Know what the evidence supports now.

Convert learning into a clear proceed, revise, pause or stop decision—and an accountable next action.

The Lab sits between early insight and committed action.
